This hands-on workshop focuses on surgical skills, including open pancreaticojejunostomy techniques and fundamental exercises using VR laparoscopy and robotic surgery simulators. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and refine their technical skills in a realistic, supervised training environment.

This advanced hands-on course provides participants with practical training on a real robotic surgical system, focusing on robotic-assisted surgical techniques and advanced instrument handling. A pancreaticojejunostomy on an artificial model allows participants to practice and refine their suturing and anastomotic skills in a realistic setting.

This hands-on session combines live endoscopy with the discussion of clinical cases and demonstration of endoscopic pancreatic interventions, including EUS and ERCP. Participants will then practice endosonographic pancreatic interventions, such as EUS-FNA, on a dedicated training model.

This workshop provides an overview of the history, clinical relevance and technical principles of pancreatic islet isolation and transplantation. Following the introductory lecture, participants will observe a live pancreatic islet isolation in rats and gain practical insights into the key steps of the procedure.

This workshop will introduce the principles and applications of CyTOF technology, with a focus on best practices for pancreas tissue sample preparation, antibody staining, and experimental design. We will also cover recommended approaches to data quality control and high-dimensional data analysis, using representative datasets. As an outlook, participants will be introduced to Imaging Mass Cytometry (IMC), followed by a guided tour of our Mass Cytometry Core Facility.
